About Evolve Dance and Fitness

Kate Gefael

President and Co-Founder

Kate is the co-founder of Evolve Dance and Fitness, a wife, proud mother of four daughters, and a trusted Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Realty Partners. Having danced since the age of two, dance has been a lifelong passion and an important part of her life for as long as she can remember.

With over eight years of experience coaching, choreographing, and mentoring young dancers, Kate is dedicated to creating a positive environment where children can grow both on and off the dance floor. Throughout her coaching career, she has volunteered her time to choreograph and coach local youth sports and dance programs, helping keep opportunities available for young athletes in the community. Under Kate's choreography and direction, teams have earned state championship titles and numerous competitive achievements. While she is proud of those accomplishments, she believes the greatest success comes from helping children develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and lasting friendships.

Kate's teaching philosophy centers around strong fundamentals, proper technique, and age-appropriate training. She believes dancers should build a solid foundation and progress at a steady pace, allowing them to develop skills correctly while maintaining their love for dance.

As co-founder of Evolve Dance and Fitness, Kate helped create a studio focused on accessibility, affordability, and community. Her goal is to provide a welcoming and supportive space where every dancer feels encouraged, empowered, and inspired to become the best version of themselves. Whether she's helping families find their dream home or helping young dancers find confidence in themselves, Kate is passionate about serving her community and making a positive impact in the lives of others. For Kate, dance is about more than trophies and titles; it's about building confidence, creating lifelong memories, and teaching skills that will benefit children far beyond their years in the studio.
